Find the TU/e | SKA on the university campus
Take a train to Eindhoven Central Station. In the station, take the north exit, where the buses stop. From there, you can see the university campus , which is just across the street. The tall building you see with the greenish look is the former chemistry building. Our new building (5 floors) is the third one next to the same road, indicated in red (and called "HE" for Helix) on the map below. Just before that you pass the building marked by "HAL" on that same map. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes from the station to our building.
From Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam: Schiphol has its own train
station. Take the train to Eindhoven Central Station and follow the
directions above.
From Eindhoven Airport: Take a bus to Eindhoven Central Station
and follow the directions above for reaching
Eindhoven by train.
First, naturally, you follow the signs from wherever your coming to Eindhoven. For the next part, see the included map of Eindhoven. The university is located in the area marked by the TU/e logo, in the east of the city. Within Eindhoven, follow the signs to the university or to the train station until you reach the campus. A close up of the campus itself is shown below.
On the campus you will find us in the building
marked in red, which is called "Helix", but also still called
"Chemistry building". Our laboratories and offices are on the
third and fourth floor on the west side of the
building (ie. STW 3.xx and STW 4.xx). The three red dots on the campus map
indicate the entrances to the campus that one can use when travelling by car.
The
indicates the direction of the railway station.
