Chrétien Hermse

Chrétien Hermse was born in Maastricht, the Netherlands in 1977. After attending grammar school at the Trichter College in Maastricht, he became a student of the Chemistry and Chemical Engineering faculty at the Eindhoven University of Technology. He defended his Master Thesis entitled 'A Monte-Carlo model of NO on Rh(111) under ultra-high vacuum conditions' on the 21st of August 2000, and now continues his research as a Ph.D.-student in the same group. His current research is a continuation of his thesis, involving Monte-Carlo modelling of model catalysts.

Chrétien finished his project with a thesis and a succesful Ph.D. defense on the 1st of December, 2004. From the start of February, 2005, he works with TNO Science and Industry, Eindhoven.
