Eric Meijer was born in Schiedam in 1967. After attending the St. Pauluslyceum in Tilburg, he came to the TU and obtained the qualification of Ingenieur in de Scheikundige Technology. His Ph.D. research is concerned with the computation of IR spectra of acidic OH groups in zeolites, using quantum mechanical methods. Eric Meijer now works at Philips Medical Systems.
