Hiroshi Ohashi

Hiroshi Ohashi was born on January 19th, 1965 in Japan. He studied applied chemistry at Yokohama National University in Japan and was awarded the degree of Master of Engineering in 1990. Thereafter he got a position in Idemitsu Kosan Co., Ltd. (IKC), which is one of the Japanese oil companies. He worked in the Catalyst and Reaction Design Laboratory in IKC as a research chemist. His main research area at IKC was the reforming reaction with precious-metal catalyst. Since September 2001, he is doing a quantum chemical study of steam reforming catalysis as a visiting researcher in Eindhoven University of Technology. He is also a trainee of Japan Cooperation Center Petroleum (JCCP). His study is supported by IKC and JCCP.

After two years with us, from September 2003 Hiroshi returned to his work in Japan.
