Xavier Rozanska

Xavier Rozanska was born in France in 1972. He obtained his certificate of bachelor in Physical Chemistry at Universtity of Nancy in 1996. He obtained in 1998 a Dea (US Ms.C.) in Theoretical Chemistry and Computer Science at the University of Nancy. His project dealed with the implemantation of Ewald sumation and generalized reaction field in a molecular dynamic package. He has done his Eindhoven TU. His research project, supported by Total Raffinage Distribution, involved the study of the reactivity of dibenzothiophene and its derivatives upon contact with solid acid catalyst using quantum-chemical computer codes based on Density Functional Theory.

Xavier succesfully defended his Ph.D. thesis and aquired the title of Doctor on the 4th of July 2002. His Ph.D. research was awarded the ASML best Ph.D. prize for 2003.

From the 8th of July 2002 to end of July 2003, dr. Rozanska has been active as a postdoc at the Theoretical Chemistry and Biochemistry Group of the Laboratoire Chimie théorique (or the English version) at the University of Nancy.
