Course Information

for "duale studenten" and "VKO'ers" only

"Duale studenten"

  • For "duale studenten" there is only one lecture each week of 2 hours on Wednesdays from 13.30 until 15.30 hours in STO 4.91 (from March 31 until June 16, 2004 inclusive). (Note that, because of public holidays and exams, on some of these dates there is no lecture.)
  • Each lecture of the "duale studenten" will deal with the material of two lectures for the regular students. Lecture 1 of the "duale studenten" is about the material of lectures 1 and 2 of the regular students, lecture 2 "duaal" corresponds to lectures 3 and 4 regular, etc. The topic of each lecture of the regular students can be found on the contents page.
  • There is no separate opportunity to make exercises as there is for regular students. Of course, everybody is welcome to attend the meetings for the regular students.
  • Each lecture will only deal with problems of and questions from the students. There will not be a presentation and explanation of the topics of the course as in the lectures of the regular students. This means that each student must prepare for each lecture by studying the topics of the lecture beforehand. To test that this has been done properly there is a set of short questions that each student should be able to answer correctly.
  • The lectures for the regular students are also available on video. There is a page with information on what you need to see the videos and a page with a list of which lectures have been recorded.
  • To keep everybody up-to-date the Blackboard program will be used, but you should also check the news page regularly.

"VKO'ers"

  • The lectures for "VKO'ers" depend on the track. Some follow half of the lectures of the regular students. Other follow the lectures of the "duale studenten."
  • Those "VKO'ers" that follow only half the lectures of the regular students should look at the contents page to see which topics of the course they have to learn by themselves.
  • There is no separate opportunity to make exercises as there is for regular students. Of course, everybody is welcome to attend the meetings for the regular students.
